OUR MISSIONTerrific Time Dance Studio was founded 16 years ago upon the premise of making dance fun for all ages. Dance is not just about competition, stage performance, and technique. Dance is more powerful than that. We support and participate in competitions, performances, and dance recitals; however, our main focus is making sure that the dancers learn to love dancing! That means creating an environment that is positive and open. We believe that if the opportunity is given for the dancer to achieve something incredible, then it is possible for that dancer if the environment is such where the sky is the limit. OUR GOALAt Terrific Time Dance Studio, our goal is to provide dance education, miscellaneous dancewear, and personal growth opportunities at a competitive and affordable price. We take pride in being able to offer our dancers more than what they would find at other studios. We also take very seriously the environment and education your dancer receives. Our goal is to provide a challenging, positive, and fun environment that is influential in the lives of our dancers as we teach and build in your dancer proper dance technique, respect, discipline, and self-esteem. We believe even difficult things can be achieved when the bar is set high and and the door of opportunity is left wide open for the dancer to walk through it.

Welcome to the site of Terrific Time Dance Studio. We are glad you are here and want to invite you to take a look at our studio and all that there is to offer. Do you ever wonder why your child dances around the kitchen floor at every possible sound of music? Do they enjoy music so much so that they just can't sit down while listening? Dance is definitely an outlet for energy, but it is also a skill that can be taught. Dance is an opportunity to develop strength, discipline, teamwork, confidence, and to bring out natural talent. Whether you are a little tot almost turning 2yrs. old, or you are an adult looking for an alternative exercise idea, we would love to show you how to have a terrific time dancing with us.
Located in Amherst, VA, we not only have supportive families and a great staff, but we also have the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains all around us. Come watch our dancers perform at local festivals in the Fall, and you will not only love the festivities, but you will be able to watch our team dancers perform.
