OUR GOALAt Amherst Dance Academy, our goal is to provide dance education, miscellaneous dancewear, and personal growth opportunities at a competitive and affordable price. We take pride in being able to offer our dancers more than what they would find at other studios. We also take very seriously the environment and education your dancer receives. Our goal is to provide a challenging, positive, and fun environment that is influential in the lives of our dancers as we teach and build in your dancer proper dance technique, respect, discipline, and self-esteem. We believe even difficult things can be achieved when the bar is set high and and the door of opportunity is left wide open for the dancer to walk through it.

Tuition is due on the first class of each month, (late fee applies of $10 after the 10th of the month). Some months have 5 weeks, some 3; however, tuition is divided into the following payment plans with no extra payment plan charge:
1) Pay in full at registration…………………… 10% discount
2) Two payments Sept 10/Jan 10……………...5% discount
3) Nine monthly payments Sept 10—May 10….no discount
· August—annual registration
· September—first monthly payment due by first day of class; late after the 10th.
· October
· November
· December (full month tuition still due)
· January—second payment for “two payment plan” due by first class in January; late after January 15.
· February + exam classes if recommended (age 6 and above)
· March + ballet exam fee
· April
· May - full monthly tuition due before first dress rehearsal. $10 late fee applies once dress rehearsals have begun.
Unless special circumstances exist, if you miss a full month, your monthly tuition is still due (as tuition is for the year’s course). Cancelled classes may be made up during the course of the semester.
A 30 day written notice is required if you wish to change or drop your class.
