This is an online registration form for Amherst Dance Academy.  If you prefer to print a hard copy and mail it in, please print out both the registration form and the billing information to complete your registration.  You will need to mail it to PO BOX 897, Amherst, VA 24521 or bring to the studio to complete the enrollment of your dancer.

NOTE IMPORTANT CHANGE FROM LAST YEAR - when you register, you are signing up for 9 months of dance lessons.  We are no longer breaking the dance season over two different semesters, which means only one registration fee!  With the longer session of dance ending in May, we do offer summer classes or programs as well, but they operate separate from the regular dance session.

Summer Session - programs and classes vary.  Sometimes we offer one full month of classes meeting twice a week, or we might offer summer dance camps that last for one one week with a particular theme.

Upon completing the registration process, we will send you a class confirmation to verify that your class is reserved.

In-house registration begins June 30.  This means that we will receive and process all registrations from our current families to enroll their dancers in the appropriate classes.  Public registrations will be received and will be processed on or after August 1 for new families.

  All registrations will be taken and entered in the order they are received.  Class size is limited, and some classes do fill quickly.

OPEN HOUSE: August 20,21 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Classes begin the week starting on Monday, August 31

Come to our open house to make sure that you have everything you need for the semester.

Instructors will be available to properly size shoes and make sure dance-wear fits accordingly.  If items are not in stock, orders will be taken so supplies can arrive in time for classes.

Please make sure you have reviewed and understand the tuition, billing cycles, registration fees, and the discounts that are available prior to registering online.  When you register online, to complete the process you will be required to enter payment information (credit or debit) on our secure site through Akada Danceworks (our software provider) to pay for your registration fee.  Your payment is not processed on this site.  Information is only collected here, so we can then process your payment after we review everything and make sure it is all accurate.  If you prefer not to provide credit/debit information online, then you may submit this form and then print a class registration form and mail/bring in with your registration payment.  Please submit this form first.

FINAL STATEMENTS

• I authorize that the information provided on the billing information form and the registration form is accurate to the best of my knowledge. 

• I understand the registration fee and tuition fee per dancer, and I agree to adhere to the payment option I choose on the following form.  I also understand the discounts available for multiple children in my family and discounts available depending on the payment option I choose.

• I understand that my account must be in good standing (not delinquent or carrying an outstanding balance) in order to participate in the Christmas recital and also in the Spring recital.

• I understand that if my account does become delinquent for 60 days (two billing cycles), then I will be notified and my dancer's enrollment in a class will be temporarily closed/suspended until payments are received including applicable late fees. 

• I also understand that my registration will not be complete until I have paid a registration fee and that registrations are taken in the order they are received...(current families June 30-July 31 / New families August1 - until classes begin)
